Showreel

Sasha Under the Knife

I follow influencer and reality TV personality Sasha Klæstrup on her trip to Istanbul, where she once again undergoes cosmetic surgery as part of her ongoing pursuit of a youthful appearance.
The mini-documentary was produced for Ekstra Bladet as part of a broader feature on cosmetic surgery. It was researched and filmed by me, and edited in collaboration with Julie Gonzalez Tilsted.

Stranded in the West Bank

Badiaa Muslet is stranded in the West Bank with her son, Yusuf. The two left the family home in Gaza shortly before 7 October 2023, as Yusuf required treatment at a hospital. Since then, Badiaa and her son have been unable to return and have remained trapped in the West Bank. She now hopes that a ceasefire may allow her and Yusuf to be reunited with their family.

Returning to Bucha with the First Soldiers

Shortly after Irpin and Bucha were liberated from Russian invading forces, journalist Peter Keldorff and I visited the areas to document the destruction alongside two of the soldiers who took part in liberating the Ukrainian towns.
This production was researched, filmed and edited by me. I also produced still photographs for the accompanying article.

Ceasefire Brings Hope of a Calmer Future

I travelled with reporter Nanna Muus on an assignment for Danmarks Radio to the Israeli city of Sderot, one of the towns attacked by Hamas on 7 October 2023.

FX6 Reel

This reel was produced in connection with one of my talks on how I work with Sony’s FX6. The presentation was delivered for Sony to the Danish Union of Journalists’ Film and TV Group.
The aim was to give participants a broad overview of video footage I have shot using the FX6, and an insight into my working process.
All footage was shot by me, and I was also responsible for the edit.

Desperate Food Shortages in Gaza

Based on footage filmed by local journalists in Gaza for the Danish Broadcasting Corporation, I edited this report about Huda and her five-year-old son, Malek, who suffers from a rare skin condition. Malek requires a special diet, which cannot be maintained in the war-torn area. As a result, his condition continues to deteriorate, causing significant distress for the young boy and his family.

The 14 Billion Scandal (External link)

Together with Ekstra Bladet journalist Joakim Sørensen, I travelled to Ghana to document, among other things, how an internet cable project worth at least DKK 135 million in Danish taxpayer funding was never completed, and how schools and other infrastructure have been left neglected and abandoned.
All footage from Ghana was filmed by me, while Signe Skov filmed additional footage in Denmark and edited the production.

Frej’s Homeland, Episode 3 (External link)

Together with Ekstra Bladet journalist Frej Kofoed, I follow climate activists from Extinction Rebellion as they block the road outside Copenhagen Airport in a protest against private jets.
I filmed the production, with editing by Malou Antonious.

Denmark’s Foreign Minister on the Two-State Solution

A news report for the Danish Broadcasting Corporation on Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen’s visit to Israel, where he meets both Palestinians and Israelis and discusses the two-state solution.

Palestinians Forced to Flee

Based on footage filmed by local journalists in Gaza for the Danish Broadcasting Corporation, I edited this report about Islam Naseer and her family, who were forced to flee after their home was hit by Israeli air strikes.

I’m Not a Parking Warden

Amid a growing number of applicants to Denmark’s Home Guard, I joined Ekstra Bladet journalist Mikkel Cramon on a training exercise with Home Guard soldier Mantas Hansen, known from the reality TV show FBoy Island. He is frustrated at being stereotyped as a parking warden, arguing that the Home Guard is about far more than high-visibility vests and traffic control.
I filmed the piece, while Mikkel Cramon edited it.
