Photojournalist and Photographer in Copenhagen

I’m a Copenhagen-based photojournalist and photographer working with editorial, documentary and portrait photography. My work focuses on people, places and stories, with an emphasis on authenticity, presence and a strong sense of place.

Whether documenting a news event, a person or a larger story, I look for the essential moments that can convey something true about what I am seeing. I prefer to work closely with people and, when possible, photograph them in environments that are meaningful to them. It creates space for images that reveal more than how someone wants to be seen.

My approach is rooted in journalistic methods and values: observing carefully, seeking context, listening to the people involved and maintaining a clear distinction between documenting a situation and shaping it. I believe photography carries a responsibility towards both the subject and the audience. That means working with respect, protecting dignity and avoiding unnecessary intrusion, particularly when photographing people in vulnerable or difficult circumstances.

In reportage and event photography, I look for the moments that distil an entire situation into a small number of frames. In portraits, I aim for something honest and human rather than simply polished.

My work is guided by strong photographic principles, precise composition and, above all, respect for the people and stories I am entrusted to photograph.
