Video Journalist and Director of Photography in Copenhagen

Based in Copenhagen, I work across documentary, news and factual productions as a video journalist, Director of Photography and cinematographer, both independently and as part of larger productions.

My background in photojournalism shapes the way I approach moving images. I’m interested not only in how a story looks, but in what the images can reveal about the people, places and situations they show.

For me, visual storytelling begins with journalism: observing what is happening, understanding the story and recognising the moments that matter. From fast-moving news to longer-form documentary productions, I work with pictures, sound and atmosphere to create a sense of presence while keeping the story at the centre.

From shooting and directing to working as a DP or video journalist, I can take responsibility for the visual side of a production from the first idea to the final image. My experience ranges from editorial work to international productions, often in situations where curiosity, adaptability and a calm approach are essential.

The goal is not simply to create beautiful images, but to create images with purpose. Images that help tell the story.

I’ve worked with Danish and international broadcasters, news organisations and production companies, including Denmark’s public broadcaster, DR, Denmark’s leading news agency, Ritzau, National Geographic and Disney+. I’ve also worked with several of TV 2’s regional stations. My work spans news, documentary and factual productions, from fast-moving editorial assignments to larger international productions.
